Kildare Road Medical Centre Mural

Kildare Road Medical Centre welcomed Roocci art into the Creche area of their brand new centre. Roocci artwork decorates the lift and the top floor where the kids will have brand new facilities. I really enjoyed doing the artwork this week! With a holistic ethic to medical care, and fantastic state of the art building I am excited to have been a part of it. PS: These are really blurry photos from my phone but will go back and get some better ones next week.;)

Feaured above: Platypus Puddles Drybib, design by Roocci!

AVAILABLE NOW! Click here...

Very excited to announce that Roocci has teamed up with leading bib makers "Drybib" to produce their amazing bibs with Roocci designs! You can purchase these Drybibs from the Roocci website here!

Every DryBib and BandanaBib has a thin layer of fleece, which absorbs and disperses all dribbles. The special fleece is ‘air-rated’ so the air lets the moisture evaporate straight away. There will be no wet clothes and no saliva rash on your baby. The bibs come in many exciting and fashionable colours and patterns. The front is 100% polyester. The back is 100% air-rated Polyester fleece.

The studs are nickel free. Drybib does not use child-labour to produce Dry bibs and actually find it highly disturbing that products for Aussie kids could be made by other kids. DryBib is proudly “Made in Australia”. Drybib does not use potentially harmful plastic or PVC.

Roocci Exhibition A FANTASTIC DAY!
THANKYOU FOR EVERYONE WHO WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT ON THE 14th of DEC. I had a GREAT day and look forward to many more exhibitions this year! It was the last exhibition at the Kenthurst Gallery before we move early next year.

Christmas Markets
The"Touched by Olivia" Fair was great! Thanks so much to the people that came down to see me and bought some great Christmas presents. All funds from the Family Fun Fair 08 will go towards Phase 2 of building an all abilities playground at Timbrell Park. And they raised over $70 000 through the fair! To find out more, visit www.touchedbyolivia.com.au You can view some more fun pics here

It threatened rain but never did! In fact we had the best weather for a fair which is nice and overcast so everyone doesn't get too sunburnt.

I love setting up a nice display. The challenge is that it's different everywhere you go especially when you do a new market every now and then. Sometimes just a table and umbrella, sometimes a gazebo. And the weather can range from freezing to boiling to wind and rain. And sometimes it's just perfect. Anyhoo, it's never dull and it's great to mix all those colours together and show people what you can do with Roocci art.

I hung all my canvases around the tent roof which made standing up a bit hard. That black lump is puppy Charlie who came to visit at the end of the day, yeah! We went for a walk after the fair along the water beside the park.

Great Day at the Inala Fair

Established in 1958, Inala, meaning ‘place of peace’ and is a not-for-profit organisation supporting individuals with disabilities. It was a great day - a day of peace - at their annual fundraiser. I had a great spot under a big tree and the little animal paintings looked like they were climbing up the branches. It was the best event I have done this year, with the students at Inala providing the best entertainment ever with laughs and tears from everyone who was there.I think that the event was just terrific with fantastic weather and a great crowd. Sharni deserves a big thanks for organising it so well and if I met you there thanks for dropping by.

AWESOME time had at the Sydney's Pregnancy, Babies and Children's Expo

Hi to all - the PCB Expo was just AWESOME - it was great to meet so many new people and I had an absolutely amazing time, presenting Roocci art to some for the first time, some for the second time having already seen it in Westmead Private hospital or in babies stores. I was absolutely thrilled at the response and also at meeting so many new bubs and expectant mums who will now have Australian animal art on the wall for their kids to grow up with.

Melbournians should stay tuned to this page for further details as I am currently looking at doing the Melbourne PCB Expo in October.

Northwest Private Hospital Mural

In April I had the priviledge of painting a mural for Brisbane's Northwest Private Hsopital. Thanks to the wonderful nursing staff who made my visit so enjoyable and to the parents and family of the new bubbas being born during my stay - I hope the new mural in Special Care makes a big difference to your stay at the hospital and reflects the enormous love, care and skill of the nursing staff. Click HERE for more pictures from the Special Care Underwater Mural...
